asdren : from Davideo7's post: "This would allow you to have 2 instances of the RGR Plugin open at the same time. Now it would require a fast computer to have 2 instances open at the same time but this would basically allow you and another user to see each other's games. You'd be playing in your game in your instance and you'd be able to see their game in their instance. This would be great for if you want to play through a single player game with someone else, show someone how to do something or race each other to see who can beat the game the fastest in real time."

daman269 :

I dunno if that can happen, you'd need a really good PC to run GCN games.. and last I check the only stable gamecube Emulator out there is dolphin.

I'mma vote for DOS games, really old pc games would be nice and they shouldn't be too much trouble.

Since you already tackled the Chrome support and are currently tackling the upgraded architecture, the only thing I would like right now is more netplay systems.

I know that GBA netplay is out of sight, but maybe other systems can have it. I'm not talking about Dreamcast (that's utopian to this day), but to have barely half a dozen systems to netplay out of the +40 Vizzed has available is a low value.

I would really have to check if there are any old PC games I could be interested in, but it seems it's a feature loved by many, so I'm in for it too.

I'm looking forward to those DOS games. The Original Warcrafts were DOS, and some of my favorite games were on that system.

Thanks for the site, games, board, and all the other hard work.

It's probably not going to be in the near future but I will be donating once I can get a recurring financial boost to my wallet.

The Gamecube is an old console and doesn't have HD graphics, much RAM or any of that stuff so I'm pretty sure that if you have a decent computer you could run it.

daman269 : The issue here is that Gamecube games are rather large, and actually to run the games without lag and at a decent frame rate, you need a pretty decent computer. But the main problem would be the storage and bandwith costs. Then we would have to look into if it's even possible to add the Dolphin emulator to the RGR plugin. Not to mention that Nintendo is pretty protective of their GC franchises/games so there could be legal issues. CoolRoms for example was forced to take down their GC games, or be forced to close up shop entirely. We don't want that.

I'm not saying its out of the question, but we would need A LOT of donations as well as some luck legally in order to add them.

I like that the Mednafen system supports video recording but clock-based events cannot occur in certain Game Boy Advance games using Mednafen. I'd like an updated Mednafen that supports video recording and all clock-based events. Or if not possible using Mednafen programming, something new that does all that.

I would love 3DO, PSP, or Windows 3.1/95/98 section, thought It would be pretty hard converting an emulator like PPSSPP to work on chrome. :/

It would be nice to sort games of a platform by date of release, so that the oldest games of a system appear first and the newer ones appear later.
