How come I can't save regularly? Every time I try to play a GBA game, It won't save... It's starting to get really annoying as I want to use the wondermail feature but to do that I have to get to the game's home menu but If I try that I'll lose all of my data (as I've only been able to use save states).....

To save go to your headquarters and go to your straw bed go right over top of it then you will be asked if u want to save then go right ahead and do so

Which emulator are you using? If you are using Mednafen I am 90% sure you can't save regularly. Try using the other emulator and see if it will let you save. Only problem is that you will have to start over...
