So i get out of the military in about 24 days..... you have no idea how good it feels

Just the fact that i can make my own life choices, dont have to work mon-fri (until im outta college), dont have to wear this gay uniform, no more running and fracturing my tibia's, and best of all.... im going green when im out

I wont be on for probably a couple of months i just wanted to say that its been a pleasure posting with some of you like Geeo, and Didowe... even Jigsaw (altho cynical at times)

what?!? why won't you be around? just cause you're leaving the military doesn't mean you can't post here anymore.

and you may be relieved to be getting out of the military... but please don't disrespect it or the uniform or anyone/anything about it. I have a lot of family that has or did serve in the military and I don't really like it when people disrespect the military.

No i mean im gonna be moving into a new house and what not, and until im settled in i wont be posting....

I meant no disrespect to Military, just my experience wasnt what you would called poster perfect (not like i expected much )

I think the military is a great opportunity for young adults, and taught me alot ... just isnt my cup of beans anymore, im off to be a computer systems analyst for a oil company in Texas

Thanks guys, ill be here until Feb 12th then im on my faithful journey driving from san diego to houston with a U-haul and my car towing behind it.

Im so relieved to be out, and no geeo its not that i dis-like the military just feels so overwhelmingly unreal that i can finally make Sound decisions about my own life path ya know?

fair enough. I guess having your entire day planned out and structured like that is tough for some people. I honestly think I would thrive like that. I waste so much time right now... if someone made me spend my time doing certain things I bet I would be twice as productive as I am now.
