So far, as of right now, I have pre-ordered the following: 

XBOX ONE Games

• Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition - $0.00 left of $99.99 
• Elder Scrolls Online - $0.00 left of $59.99 ( will probably upgrade to the Imperial Edition on Release night if they will let me ) 
• Guitar Hero Live - $79.00 left of 99.99 

Plan on getting 

• XBOX ONE Version of Madden NFL 16. Will probably get the edition that comes with all the extra stuff in the pre-order, like the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Pre-Order.

I've only pre-ordered Super Smash Brothers 3DS. Although depending on various things, I might pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles X.

A user of this : I thought Super Smash Bros 3DS has been out... Are they remaking it for the NEW 3DS?

I have only ever pre-ordered two games before; and they are GTA V and Majoras Mask 3D. I am contemplating pre-ordering Fallout 4.

The only game I have pre-ordered right now is Black Ops 3, for the PS4 of course. I'm really excited about this one, and I'm currently playing Advanced Warfare as sort of a warm up game for it.

I thought about pre-ordering Madden 16, but that still depends on if there will be a new college game coming out this summer. I would assume since its already June and I haven't really heard anything yet, there won't be one this year. I have never liked any of the Madden games but I eventually have to get my football fix somehow XD

MattyIce : They have a new Madden every year... don't see why there wouldn't be a NCAA, unless you know something I don't. 

I think I know what you are referring to, though, with the relationship between Madden and the NCAA Football. I think the last year they did that where you could port your college player to Madden was in 2011 or 2012, the year before they combined Franchise and Career mode. I really hope they un-combine those 2 modes this year. 

I personally don't believe in pre-ordering games. By pre-ordering, we're basically saying we'll pay for whatever the company chooses to make without actually knowing what that is. I always wait at least a few months before buying anything. That way, I can see what the reviews and the customers have to say about the product before I spend my money on it.

Thebiguglyalien : I can see what you're getting at, but somebody has to buy it first before the folks like us can know if it's worth trying based on reviews.

I personally have never preordered simply because the last new systems I had were the N64 and the PSX, and back then preordering wasn't even "a thing". xD But once I get my PS4 later this month I'll definitely be open to preordering on some titles. Still, much like what Thebiguglyalien said, I'm cautious about doing it, so it'll be a rare thing for me to do it most likely. Otherwise I'll be buying AAA games after they're reviewed and the price drops, I'll also be buying A LOT of Indie games.

Also, the way so many AAA devs release buggy games that take three patches to fix *cough*AC Unity*cough* sorry, I meant *cough*Battlefield 4*cough*... Nasty cough. But yeah, like I was saying, the buggy games many AAA devs are releasing lately make me want to wait even more so they can get the kinks worked out before I pay. Whatever happened to good old Beta testing?

I hear where you guys are coming from. I usually only Pre-Order games that I know I have to have, or that I know I'm going to put time into playing. I didn't Pre-Order Mortal Kombat X because I didn't know if I would play it. I have it, but i haven't played it much because I have other games I consider to be a priority. 

And Eirinn, get the XBOX ONE so we can play Halo and Smite with each other and do booms! 

I have preorderd a few steam green house games without knowing what it really was xP ... It's a risk but it gives me something extra to do. I may preorder something in the future concerning PC or System wise but I usually wait several months for when the price drops.

Nooooo, you buy Helldivers for PS4 so we can do booms when I get mine! Besides, I desperately need Helldivers players on Vizzed. I've been waiting on that game for over a year now, and I need friends for multiplayer! xD

Also, I feel about the same as you do on preorders really. There are a few developers I would never preorder from though, and yes, Ubisoft is my number one no go in that area.

To add more to the conversation than I did last time, here are some games I'll consider preordering that are set to come out soon...ish:

-Disney Infinity 3.0. Yes, I said that.

-RIDE.

Well I just preordered Batman Arkham Knight. Not that I wanted it really, it just came bundled with a PS4. I figured since I was already paying $398.95 for the PS4 I might as well pay the extra $1.04 ($399) for the Batman Arkham Knight bundle so I'd have a game.

It came with free DLC but someone goofed and had the offer set to expire the day before the game released. xD I was going to be getting the Scarecrow Nightmare Missions, Justice League 3000 Batman outfit, Classic TV Series Batman outfit, and classic TV Series Batmobile skin with that DLC had it not expired at 11:59 PM the night before the game came out (today). lol

The only time that I ever pre-order a game is if it has pre-order bonuses (that are worth getting) & is a game that I know without a shadow of a doubt that I will want. That or if I am using it as a glorified layaway program. I've only ever pre-ordered a handful of games at that. The only games that come to mind are...

That's not to say that those are the only games that have been pre-ordered FOR ME. Just the only ones that I have personally went out of my way to pre-order.

I pre-ordered Dragon Ball Xenoverse which I am still unsure of whether or not it was worth buying.  Also World of Warcraft Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor.  All worth it since I have been playing WoW for about 10 years now.  Thanks for the post and ability to answer it
