Both of the ways require you get to a certain part of the game (this will be specified before saying how to do these ).
one way is something I like to call zombie bounce money. You will need to have unlocked the dagger to do this. What you do is very simple. Bounce on the heads of the enemy zombies in spiderweb island. Each time you bounce on the head you get one jem to spend in the shop.
The other way is something I like to call cheap door money. This one only requires you to get to tan line island. To do this go into the temple where fanfics will probably happen and find a hidden jar room. Break the jars and go through a door way. Then go through the same doorway, rince and repeat.
