My personal favorites are Scout, Spy, and Engineer. Scout because it's very fun dodging attacks and running. Spy because I love infiltrating bases. Engineer because I like playing an RTS, and playing Engineer is kind of like that. You have to attend to all your buildings at once.
Honorable Mention: Demo. His grenades are very effective if aimed properly, and stickybombs are useful for defense, and sticky jumping is tons of fun.

Scout or Sniper. Love those classes.
Scout is very strong, quick and versatile class. Lots of possibilities.
Sniper I really like, and it's also pretty versatile. You can be the sniper in the distance taking out foes from afar, or get close in the action with the Huntsman.
