I'll walk you through it just to confirm you know what to do.
Go to Edit Profile https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/editprofile.php
Click the "Browse" button next to "User picture" and browse to the picture you want to use on your PC, select it the click Ok.
Then click the "Edit profile" button at the bottom of the page.

Make sure the file you want as a display pic / avatar is on your local PC.
Also remember the picture must be below 25KB in size and you might want to make sure is is below 200 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall as I can't say for certain if the auto resize works or not.

well, i know its 200x200. it has many layers though, the guy that made it for me on another forum said he wouldnt have been able to add anything else to it, as its KBs were close to the max of that forum, so that may be the problem. that site had a 50kb max.. maybe thats the issue... i guess ill have to find another avi. that really sucks. i like that one

That probally is the reason then.
You can try using a image tool like IrfanView to either change the picture to a file type with lower compression, like png, or change the file quality down from 100% to 60-80% if you want to use that picture.
