The way this game works is a user will use a pokemon move on you, then you'll have to avoid it or let it hit you and then use a move of your own on the next user.

Example 1: I use heal pulse on the user below me because they look like they're in awful shape.

Example 2: I let the heal pulse hit me and now I'm feeling much better! I use ice beam on the user below me because that guy totally needs to chill LOL!

You can now go ahead and start by responding to example 2.
