I like to hack flash games, but i tend to have more fun trying to track down the addies i want to alter then playing the game itself. Although messing with code and save states etc.. is nothing new for me either.

Some people wants ((hack and slash))games w/hacks(like Dynasty warrior, they want to see the enemies get owned as the people blow them), others want some challenging so they hack into games to make it harder(it can if you only know how to hack). -------------------- |

Regarding game hackers though, they receive an amazing amount of criticism, almost to the point where it's unbelievable (From the hacked websites, not Vizzed board of course). I think that it really isn't that fair on the hackers, as they do all the hacking, not knowing what the people want hacked. So the message is: if you want a certain game hacked, hack it yourself! -------------------- |

I would have to agree with the majority of the statements, that hacked games are often too easy.
I suppose for ridiculously hard games that you can't even get to level two without losing all your lives an infinite lives cheat might be ok, but that's about as far as I'd take it. Infinite health for example just takes all of the fun out of a game as far as I'm concerned. I might use such a cheat if I was just going through the game gather screenshots or mapping levels, but not for real play. So really the only game hacks I would say are any good are ones that change the games mechanics so you can do cool things or ones that make the game have new levels, but I would only use those ones after finishing the real game.
