I came up with the idea for this thread after reading and posting in the thread titled, "Does every Final Fantasy game come with a terrible character?" I know this topic is probably discussed more often, but I'm curious to know who everyone likes best. I'll start off with my favorites from the games I've played a decent amount of.

4: Rydia

7: Tifa
8: Rinoa

12: Either Ashe or Fran. I like both of them a lot.

Kinako : I thought 0 was apart of the Mothership? Kururu is Galuf's niece if I remember correctly you get her towards the end. Filo is technically from 12-2 but she is also included in the first game but as a Minor but she is still my favourite either way.

FFIV: Does it have to be a playable character? I liked the dwarves best, so eccentric. But if its player-only, Edge. He was one strange prince, but at least he had eyes for Rydia (who was awesome). Plus, once he joins, he doesn't leave.

Lighting, Cloud, and Hope are my very favorite characters. I know they are basically main characters but I have only played a few of the Final Fantasy games so it limits my choices. Lighting is my top favorite though. Sereh and Rem are also great characters.

I haven't played many Final Fantasy games but my favorite characters are Hope Estheim from Final Fantasy XIII, Noel Kreiss from XIII-2 and Tidus from X. Hopefully I'll be able to play more games in the series to expand my favorite's list.

Brigand : Actually there are 2 playable characters that I know of. One of them is Oerba Dia Vanille and the other is Oerba Yun Fang. They are both from Final Fantasy XIII.

Vanille was originally age 19 and Fang was 21. During the game they were both crystalized and hundreds of years pass. When they get out of crystallization Vanille is 619 and Fang is 621. More events happen with the story ( a lot to explain), in Lightning Returns Vanille is 1,619 years old and Fang is 1,621.

Terra, Rydia, Vincent, Sephiroth.  There are things I like about Kefka, but his character is too similar to the Joker, in my opinion.  The sexiest character would have to be Tifa, at least in the way she's portrayed in Advent Children.

FF4: Kain. Loved him, but I could not get why he would act like such a jerk from time to time. Also, the strange FuSoYa.
FF5: Galuf. I got all sad to see that old man go away. :
FF6: I'd say Celes, mainly for the opera scene. So beautiful, still gives me chills thinking about it.
FF7: I'm one of those Vincent's lover! Haha! Learned on piano his theme song : Nightmare's Beginning.
FF8: Squall would be the one, though I liked all of the dream sequences crew (Laguna, Kiros and Ward).
FF9: Steiner and Sir Vivi. Vivi had some mysterious background which I liked, but Steiner had so many comic relief scenes.
