I can not get Phantasy Star Online to work.  It says it is starting the download but then just never does anything else.  It sits at 0% and continuously says it is downloading the ROM.  I can chat, I think, nobody else was in the room probably, but otherwise it just does nothing.  I installed the RGR plugin and enabled the "npapi" plugins through the method shown, and it still doesn't work. Just wondering if someone else can test this to see if there is a fix.  I only use Chrome due to Firefox having too many issues with my laptop, and Internet Explorer just plain not working at all.

EDIT: it seems to be Dreamcast-wide, as I just tried 2 other games and they failed to load as well.  suggestions?

Have you downloaded and installed DirectX9? If not, then that's the reason it's not working. You need DirectX9 to get the Dreamcast to work.

due to my massive habit of heavy gaming it would be more apt to ask the question of "what versions of DirectX do you NOT have", since I tend to have 8, 9, 10, and 11, just for the simple fact any one game i have tends to use a different one than others :/

not trying to be demeaning or anything, but yeah, i would be very much surprised if i didnt have it, since i play at least 5 games that use it, regularly, i might add

EDIT: it works now, have no idea, but it is taking a while so it might have just been a massive download or something

Daionor: Yeah, I had to download Sonic Adventure 2 overnight. Dreamcast games, since they were on GD-ROMS (no, that's not a typo), had large filesizes. Shenmue 2 is 2 gigabytes. I think par for Dreamcast is around 1.5 GB. However, most games are worth the wait!
