Hey guys tell me, would you like to live in a world with super heroes and villains? If so which universe in particular? And would you want to be a super hero or villain? Even so what power would you want? I would like to be in the DC universe. And my power would be Teleportation or like one of my favorite movies, Jumper, I guess I would call it jumping (Teleporting in the movie). And I would want to be a super hero. Dang morals always get in the way. Update: I just posted down below, but let me put it here too. If every single person living in the Universe could have a super power, not one person without it, then would you like to live in one?

Only if the powers were granted to those who deserve them, and not to those who would abuse their power.

People who strike fear in others, simply because they are in a higher position than others are some of the most despicable people I can think of.

But people who use their powers selflessly, for the betterment of society and to help others are truly admirable. Hence the word "hero". Then again...hide your girlfriends 'cause as soon as they see some guy who can fly, lift ridiculously heavy objects, run at turbo speed...or can do things that can make a lot of money, they'll be all over them and they'll completely forget about you :/

So I guess my answer is still yes. Sure would be cool to live in a world where there are people whom you genuinely look up to and as well as that, crime would be significantly less prominent in the world, because we have amazing people who are willing to do everything they can so that other people can live happy lives. Of course, there were people like that in the past, but they're much less common now.

And I guess I'd like to be a superhero if I had the opportunity...but there's no way I'd dress up in such flashy colours and give dramatic speeches about justice and protecting the peace...I'd just do what I've gotta do. As for powers, I'd love to have super speed, and intense reaction time, increased jump height and distance, and (while this is not necessarily a power) a HF Blade with  professorial  skills of how to use it.

I guess it would be cool to live in the Marvel universe where common people are able to get super hero powers.  The down side is both bad and good can get these powers.  So who knows what the outcome would be.  I would love to have mental powers it is the most versatile of all powers.  I would be good and try to help those in need.  Maybe an anti-hero like robin hood?

Besides, since their actions would defy government-sponsored "defense" they would be tried quickly tried as was happening in the first X-Men trilogy. There would be so many regulations on super heroes that they would basically serve no purpose UNLESS they agreed to be agents of the government, in which case they would actually become villains.

In short super heroes are better left in the realm of fiction.

No, I would not. Think about the final fight in Man of Steel. Metropolis must have had a large wave of immigration after to get to its current population, because no more than 10 civilians survived that fight. I also wouldn't want to live in a world with super heroes because I would be the worst super hero ever. I would use my superpowers to impress girls and maybe help you not die if it were convenient to me. If you cut in line or said "YOLO" I would murder you and any adjacent people for the "greater good of the city". The ugly thing about superpowers is that when police say "You can't just murder people like that, Ender", I would say "Well, I did, and funnily enough I can murder you too"

If everyone has them/can have them, then what's the point? Superheroes were imagined because "the people" were in dire need of someone that would help them triumph over evil. It would be like Krypton.

I think Mind Control would be an amazing super power, like Charles Xavier. Though I think if I had to choose, I would choose superman's powers. I mean, he has it all. Invincibility (to almost everything), x-ray/laser eyes, frost breath, near infinite strength, flight, super hearing, and I'm sure I've missed some.
