http://www.faceoff.com/hockey/teams/vancouver-canucks/story.html?id=2430154&add_feed_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.faceoff.com%2Fscripts%2FSP6Atom.aspx%3Fid%3D894638

I'm pretty sure that no one here is aware of the Calgary vs Vancouver hockey game that happened last Saturday (Jan 9th) where a fan decided he/she was going to bring a green laser pointer to the game and shine it into the opposing goaltenders eyes (that would be the Calgary goaltender).

This happened all game in spite of the attempt by security to find the person doing it.

Now, Calgary managed to win in spite of this going on all game....

What do you guys think about this?

And can you think of anything else in sports similar to this that you've seen or heard of. Instances where fans try and rattle the other team by doing "legal" but really annoying things during games.

I find this quite interesting, mind you I haven't heard/read of anything legal but annoying like this being done in Australia's sports.
We usually get people attempting to streak across the cricket pitch/footbal field.

fair enough.... I can't really think about what someone could do during either cricket or football that would actually help sway the game in any way. Most of the time they would just stop what is going on and reset.

But I imagine if fans were able to they would because no matter how pationate hockey fans claim to be they are no match for football fans around the world.
