i use my tablet alot but im no casual gamer, im almost 13, and how did i get these consoles? well when my brother was a kid (born 1989) my dad would get him whatever, my dad got all this stuff except for the ds, ps4,ps3,dsi,and 3ds,my brother got those, i bought my own wii u with my money i saved up and im about to buy and alienware gaming pc/laptop. when i get some more money im gonna buy a sega genesis and dreamcast, i dont care much about the saturn or mega drive. i also have HUGE knowledge in gaming so if u know something that i dont about games (in extremely rare cases) that would be very fascianting to me. i one day hope to become a develpoer, with a degree in software designing and hardware engineering. well thats all i have to say, it would make my day if someone replies.

I understand how you feel. I used to get bored a lot because everyone I could talk to was busy all the time. Now that I've tried harder to make friends and be more outgoing, I don't have that problem because I have more people to talk to that aren't so busy.

Creating a thread like this will really help with making friends on vizzed. I'm very impressed that you own so many consoles at a young age and that you want to become a developer. Hopefully you can, that'd be amazing and I think it would be a fun job when it isn't too stressful.

I believe I've seen an Alienware gaming PC before at a store with my dad, and I took a little look at it. Those computers are so awesome!

PacmanandMariofan : yeah development is stressful but its a hit or miss job when ur indie. when ur working for a popular comoany most of that time it pays off. but if i can make good games as an indie and have a great rep it might not be such a problem.

Yeah, if you have a desire to do a job, and you're good at it, you should probably go for it.

As long as you do your job well, and you're a friendly and cooperative person, especially to the people you're working with, you should have no problem keeping up a good reputation

1. alienware is overpriced for what it is, i would recommend putting more research into it and getting something that's both better and cheaper
2. i wish you good luck with the development. it can be extremely difficult if you use a decent engine. there's stuff like stencyl and unity that are easy (unity is probably the best for indie devs), but unreal engine 4 (look it up, tons of great games like mass effect and mortal kombat x are made with them) is free now. super complicated though.
3. i should note that it costs money to submit indie games to game clients and websites. steam's greenlight fee is $100.
