I use the XBOX One Mini controller on mine, but mine is the wired one so if you have the wireless one, then you need to get a micro USB I believe and plug it in. If you have that plugged in or a wired one, then you need to download the driver

Once thats up, then as soon as you turn on a game, if the game is compatiable with a controller then it should automatically be connected and usable.

If the game itself can use a controller, then there shouldn't be a problem. Once the controller is hooked up to the PC, the only problem couldbe the compatibilty between the game and controller, but if the game does accept controller usage, then it will work without a doubt.
