I had an AMAZING day today, I went with my agency to do a tour of RCA Records, one of the Record labels under Sony Music and we were able to talk to all of the heads of the company. In addition to RCA, we were able to tour Sony Music a well as Colombia Records and we went down into the basement and visited the Archives where they have probably tens of thousands of old CD's records, and VHS tapes of all the music owned by them and we had so much fun.

We heard stories of the artists that work for them, and there's a lot of them, and we got a ton of gifts. Each of us got a Sony Music bag, notbooks, and 5 sealed music CD's for Miley Cirus, Mali Music, Justin Timberlake, G-Easy, and Aretha Franklin.

I even talked to the head of who signs the artists and I managed to talk to him about the songs that I have done before and this day was a blast.

It sounds amazing, zander. I would have liked to see the basement music storage, honestly. That sort of thing always interests me, because there is INEVITABLY something in places like that that you didn't know existed, so you can look for it later. I do the same thing when I see video-game walls at people's houses and such. *Or in pictures, because I honestly don't go to people's houses* 

BUT ANYWAY. It sounds like you had an amazing day. Just getting to see some of the inner workings of a record label would be interesting, I think. And cool that they gave you CD's. I wouldn't have expected that, really, much less more than one.  *can I steal the Aretha Franklin one? XD* 

Yunimori : It's cool because in these libraries, they have full binders of pictures of the singers as well, and I really mean full binders. Not binders of full papers of pictures, but the film, so one page probably had the film for about 100 pictures. ROughly each binder had at least 200 pages and each of the hundreds of singers had an entire shelf of 20 to 30 binders just for them.
