Hello everyone this is a personal thread to tell everyone my journey in fitness. Feel free to give feed back I will try to update this thread every week or two. I will describe my activities and some of the healthier foods I eat.

Name: Bryant Lennex
D.O.B.: October 18, 1990
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 329 (updated was 356 when I started)
Hydration: 38%
Body Fat Percentage: 50.9%
Visceral Fat: 39
Muscle Mass: 158 lbs
Bone Mass: 7.6 lbs
Body Mass Index: 49.1
Basal Metabolic Rate: 2257

These are some of my numbers that a machine reads from me. I will now define these numbers

Name: Who I am.
D.O.B.: Date of birth (simple I know)
Height: How tall I am.
Weight: How much I weight in pounds. Determines how much water you need to drink a day.
Hydration: Body water content:
Body Fat Percentage: Self explanatory
Visceral Fat : Fat around your organs this is what kills you only diet can remove this. The number is how many pounds you have
Muscle Mass: How much muscle you have determines amount of protein you need to consume a day.
Bone mass: How much your skeleton weighs.
Body Mass index: some science that compares your height to your weight to rate you.
Basal Metabolic Rate: how many calories my metabolism burns just to stay alive.

These are my wellness profile numbers base don a body composition test at the nutrition club I volunteer at.  They change based on my hydration and activity level see them improve or get worse and I will say why they did. Feed back is awesome I'm in classes to become a Personal trainer so I hope to document these properly to aid my training.

If you have questions Please P.M. me i will be happy to answer them.

Well this week has shown a definite drop in my hydration because I have been sick. It has been hard to move and it has not been good . Getting over whatever it is has been difficult and I'm not finished yet. My results will tell where I have to stand when I check either this week or the next. The machine is effected by hydration so my numbers will be less accurate and in a range that is more unhealthy than I already am. All this does is motivate me to work harder.

things are less than stable in my household and when the scattered patterns of life start to come together as they have in the past  my changes will be amazing you will think I am lying. No joke. My next post will be my updated figures. Time to drink more water

You should be drinking so when you pee, your urine is either clear or barely yellow.  If you pee orange, heavy yellow, brown, or serious color, you need to drink more, end of story.  Stay hydrated.  If you take vitamins the color changes but you'll know what's going on.

Go get 'em!  Keep on your feet and keep the garbage out of your mouth.

You are right and even then it isn't enough, sometimes toxins can build up or even rarely you eat too many vitamins and it will be yellow. I am working very hard on my hydration. It is the toughest part of my journey for me.

I have returned from my nutrition club with an update in my wellness profile.

weight: 332 lbs
body fat: 51.43%
visceral fat: 30
Hydration: 38.57%
Muscle mass: 153,3 lbs
bone mass:7.9 lbs
basal metabolic rate: 2402
daily caloric intake: 4275
Body mass index 46.3

these results surprised me because i had no water before going to the club. My activity has been negligible and my diet has been poor eating tacos, enchiladas, fried fish, and French fries for the last few days. Home made of course and before these I was eating home made pizza. I have increased my fruit and vegetable intake and tomorrow I am going to walk 5 miles to a river and swim for the day before walking home. The journey to increase my health is going to be long and fruitful

here is a story for you guys.

Today I was out looking for a job and my driver had to make a pit stop and started to take me home. I said "Hold on the club is closer lets go there." so we ended up going to the club.  when we got there I too my numbers hugged everyone and talked to a new coach a pretty black woman. When the owner said  "Hey Bud put on an apron and give me a hand with the dishes." I jump up "YOU GOT IT!" and rushed to put on an apron. I put it on and search for the third blender to learn it was broken and we only had two. So I helped out during lunch rush and at the end of it all things settled down and we rested. It was a standing rest ad he thanked me for my help and explained again why he needed help ad I said "No problem thank you for letting me help it was nice of you to ask." the lunch rush lasted about 20 minutes and I enjoyed helping out.

that is all for this post than you all for dealing with me and than you to the moderators for keeping this thread open. Life is unpredictable and that makes it all the more interesting.
be safe and enjoy yourselves.

This is a really exciting thread!  Even though your numbers didn't go too well, never stop trying!  It looks like a great goal, and a pretty good plan.

Keep up the good work, and keep everyone posted.

I have had new numbers for a while and didn't post because they are an example of how much the information changes due to Hydration. I have been worried because my mom is in the hospital and they are starting to think it is a blood clot. They don't know. I might post an update when they figure out why her right side is numb.from the neck down. No apologies no pity life happens and when people say life isn't fair they cant face the reason why they think that.

see life is fair. The Hindu call it Karma. Jesus said "you reap what you sow." the modern phrase is "what goes around comes around." people fail to see that Life is fair and that the people in it aren't fair. Those who can't face the responsibility for their actions and thoughts claim "life isn't fair" to hide from it. This is only my personal belief and I only have 24 years of experience. Story time is over time for those numbers I have been procrastinating about. My next post will show a decline because of the stress I have been under.

The paper I have this one written down on has 3 sessions and 3 readings. 4/12, 4/14, and the most recent on the paper that has the numbers 4/17. I did take another measurement since and have yet to write it down it is in a computer at the club.

4/17/2015
weight : 334.1 lbs
body fat% : 45.03
Hydration:44.32
muscle mass: 174.7
bone mass 9.0 lbs
visceral fat 26
Basal metabolic rate/daily caloric intake: 2685/4780

these are the changes  I might consider putting the other ones on here too but I decided against it because previous posts have the information on the paper.  the numbers should be for BMR and DCI should be reversed and the names too I wrote them down as they are on the sheet I got.

my hydration is going to suffer if I don't drink more water. I have joined a summer body challenge and my next post will have 2 sets of numbers also dated like this one. It is difficult to maintain my hydration and the most difficult part of this whole journey. Therefore it is what I am surprised to see improve because I remember everything I eat and drink. Take care of yourselves and please like these posts if you do and share them with your friends. I also want to Pm with my readers to hear their stories as well and maybe say more details because I can't advertise what I do here.

it is a good rule system and I follow it to the best of my ability. I want to shout out to the creator of this site a hearty Thanks and I hope the issue with Google chrome is fixed soon. If it hasn't been already. I would also like to shout out to Shingelli or how ever you spell her screen name please forgive my rudeness for not remembering.  saying Congratulations on your new baby on the way and I hope you return to read these posts.

I have yet to go to the club this or last wee because Mom's stroke left her in shock.. Her body is still recovering but it is all good progress on her part. I am keeping up with my hydration as much as possible and my eating habits have declined. I suspect when I do run my numbers again I will have a lot of work to do to rebuild the results I have made. Right now my cat is laying on my back making it hard to do anything at all so I decided to leave this update.I am confident that mom will recover soon and I will have new numbers to post here. I apologise that I don't have any as of yet. It takes three and a half hours to walk to the club, not that I mind.,  and when I am there I will most likely volunteer to help out. For a few hours or even go advertise for them.  then I would have to walk back, not that I mind, and that would tae another three and a half hours.  travel time alone is seven hours in which mom would need me around the house because she calls my name every 30 min.

I am back I had some trouble changing Internet companies that left me without Internet for 3 days. Conveniently on the day I got my numbers so needless to say I have been livid with the company who severed the Internet feed. If I could prove it in court I would sue them for Mal-practice and they would be out of business.

My updated numbers are as follows,

5/15/15
weight: 331.7 lbs
Body fat: 49.52
hydration: 40.48 (did not go down as much as I expected I was pleased with this number.)
Muscle mass: 159.2 lbs
daily caloric intake/basal metabolic rate: 4410/2478
bone mass: 8.2 lbs
visceral fat: 28 lbs

these are my updated numbers take just before lunch with no breakfast. As you can see. Things declined as my physical activity declined. The journey continues and I shall return with more numbers and a happier story next time. Please enjoy and take care of yourselves.

Hello all I have two new number groups. These latest weeks have been very hard in my journey to find a job and lose weight.  the story today is maybe a long one. Dareld the owner of my club has 3 grandchildren all babies and 2 born this year with in one month of each other. The larger one is Robbie he is also the youngest. Dareld was holding him and he calls me over "Look at him" so I did. Earlier I was making faces and playing with him and this baby was smiling and staring at me. "you deserve to have one of these." Dareld told me, " you have a good heart do you know how I know?" I shook my head.  "Because he was staring at you and babies only stare at people with a good heart. Taking the fast and easy road with food isn't really fast and easy. All it does is subtract from the time you have to spend with your children. And look at your mother. She deserves grandchildren." I listened and after these two weeks I remember what he said and how the baby kept staring at me the whole time with his drooling smile on his face. These new numbers especially the last group are the result of this latest pep talk.

this is only the first story.

5/20/15
Weight: 333.5
Body fat %: 51.25%
Visceral fat: 30 lbs
Hydration: 38.75%
Muscle mass: 154 lbs
Bone mass: 8.0 lbs
basal metabolic rate/ daily caloric intake : 2421/4309

My next story is not as good as the baby one because who can top babies? While I was at the club one day we had a lunch rush. I jumped behind the counter and into the kitchen to do the dishes I promised to do and then I switched out the dirty for clean ones.  For 3 hours the rush lasted and I was back cleaning and then suddenly as it began it was over and I could relax and stack the now clean blenders in a row and not have to take them out of it. Dareld sat down near me as I was playing my 3DS and said. You did a good job today. Thanks for doing the dishes it is a big help that you did.  I returned his gratitude and started to think about what he said. He told me I was a big help and I had to see that what I thought about how many is needed to run the place smoothly was correct. One person to run the register one person to prepare the smoothies and one person to do the dishes and the rush is easy. I am starting to get what I want , a chance to show I am more than capable.

and now the latest numbers and the real improvement.

5/26/15
Weight: 334.4
Body fat %: 46.21%
Visceral fat: 26 lbs
Hydration: 43.79%
Muscle mass: 171.0 lbs
Bone mass: 8.8 lbs
Basal metabolic rate/ Daily caloric intake: 2637/4694

this is an example of how water can effect your health and how the machine reads you. This was early in the morning before I had my water. I'm reaching my goal of 45% hydration and then I will set a new goal of 220 lbs muscle mass.  and 30% body fat. I shall return as soon as ii can with new updates good or bad. This journey is important to me. As always if you are curious and want some help and advice please don't  hesitate to add me on your friend list and PM me. I welcome all Pm's with open eyes.
