I want to know the order of the games for play

I know yellow, red or blue its the first 3, but what game of this 3 are recommended?

So if possible I need to know, order of Pokémon and recommended, similar to this

1- yellow, red, blue and recommended yellow
2- gold, silver - Recommended gold
3- green leaf, red fire - recommend red
4- Pokémon ranger, Pokémon XY, recommended ranger

I don't know the order from all of the last Pokémon xD I remember from my infancy yellow, red, blue in my game boy and gold silver in my game boy advance xD.
