So I was playing some MSX2 games and messing around with the TAB menu when I checked out video options. I chose a different aspect ratio for the hell of it and this happened http://puu.sh/gxtj3/e0bbeaa882.png

I thought, "Oh, this won't be a problem, I'll just close the emulator and open it back up again" but no, this happens with literally every MSX2 game I open up, now, and none of the video options change anything.
The only way I can see the whole screen is if I use CTRL and scroll wheel to zoom in after expanding the window, but then that ends up looking like this http://puu.sh/gxtPT/45e553b0ef.png

I also re-installed the RGR plug-in and there were no improvements.
Please help

You are probably going to need to manually change the aspect ratio back.

Press Windows + R and copy and paste this in:

C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-500510MESS

Open MSX2.cfg in notepad and there should be a line that says

target index="0" view="Pixel Aspect (17:15)"

or something similar.

You will want to change that to target index="0" view="Standard (4:3)"

Click save and try it again.

vanelan : OKAY so your method did not work. However, I did fix it thanks to you showing me where the CFG file was. I just deleted it then ran an MSX2 game, and now it works again. Thanks for the help!

Odd...glad it worked though.

When I deleted it, it recreated the file with the same aspect ratio, which is why I suggested you change it instead of just deleting it.

Closing this thread since I seems to be fixed.
