when i first heard about mangas i thought they were the lamest of lame!!!

but when i tried "pokemon adventures" i changed my thoughts completely!!!

the art style was AMAZING the dialog was decent simply i loved it :O

and then i tried digimon 0 tamer the art style was decent the writing is poor-in my humble opinion- ):

but i enjoyed it for a period of time non the less

what i want from you now is to write the best mangas in your opinion so i can give them a shot

nawafmon : Well it depends on what you like and dislike in general that makes certain mangas worth reading. I have a general like in almost everything so I like a lot of mangas, I just have trouble reading ones that are terribly drawn unless they have a story that really sets them apart and makes it worth it. But I wouldn't say that the manga I read are the best but they may be interesting to you depending on your tastes. If you have a bookstore that carries it, I suggest you try Tegami Bachi. The story is almost something like an old fairy tale turned steampunk ish, or like something out of a long, well thought out RPG.  The art style is nothing to sniff at, either. Everything looks gorgeous, and unlike a lot of manga, people are proportionate and appropriate. Nothing wonky in the art style. 

With your specifications of nothing suggestive or nudity, plus children's stories, I think you'd enjoy it. 

For me, I would have to go with Eyeshiled 21. I haven't read it in a while, but I was hoked for a really long time. Something made me read it and I loved it, it's a great manga about a high school football team and even if you don't really like sports, it has a ton of awesome comedy and some action as well, so I would really suggest this one.

nawafmon : Person look up Fist of the North Star though it does contain some nudity It is very scarce and is never used sexually ever or at least from what I have seen. Plus the main character uses a ancient assassination technique to kill bad people by making them explode from the inside and if your a anything like me you probably like exploding things and if that does not convince you look at my layout that is how awesome it is. X3
