I see a lot of people are reaching milestones in time spent registered on the site... 

Today is my 5th Anniversary of being here!

I don't really know what else to say truth be told... I've made a lot of friends, I've made some enemies but I've never deviated from the path of my true self. I haven't pretended to be someone I'm not and that has hopefully earned my opinion on things a bit of respect... but meh it's more likely brought infamy.

It's weird to think that I've been here for 5 years, and I've pretty much been active all that time as well.. I spent the first year or so avoiding the forums a lot and just playing video games but after that, I started posting a little bit. At the same pace i do now, Where i pretty much just post in threads that interest me and avoid ones that don't, Post count is a nice achievement in terms of putting hours in, but i just prefer to have fun doing so. 

Besides that I've been several roles as a member of Site Staff, Such as the joys of finding box art and screen shots to the joys of moderating chat and the forums. I enjoyed it all. Granted i was probably a bit nicer when i was a moderator but that's because i like helping people, WHO KNEW?

Besides that most of my achievements here haven't been eye raising. They've mostly involved winning competition's held by legacyme3, Or just selling games or making layouts... I think that's what most people will remember me for... Either that or the MLP forum... but meh

This would be where most people would summon their friends and write paragraphs about them. But i feel that would be an injustice to everyone on the site that has and will be a user.. Everyone has made this place enjoyable for me whether it be your like or hatred towards me, it still gave me the motivation to return to this site. 

I hope that in the future i can become a moderator again. Not for the sake of power.. But just so that i can share my experience and enjoy helping people again. 

There's not really much more i can say... But perhaps one day i will be known as Tyri, and my name may be a different colour. Those are just possibilities to look forward to the future.. Until then let's all enjoy the present!

... You're a veteran!!!!! This was a good amount of stuff.to put in one of these threads, just look at a recent 4 year thread.

You did a ton of stuff throughout your career here dude, don't deny that your work wasn't eye raising, heck, you winning yellow a while back was.

Plan on doing any other big stuff here in the future?

Congrats, man! Sorry I missed this until now. Reason being unless I'm summoned here or see an eye catching thread here on the new posts page, I never stop by this forum.

With this post I would like to achieve two things:
1: Clear up where we stand for others.
2. Congratulate and thank you.
So here goes...

Given a conversation we had a while back, I get the feeling people may think we don't get along. That's simply not true. We've always gotten along, and been respectful to one another even in disagreements. In fact, I consider you somewhat of a friend. We should talk more often actually.

And as for the rest, you've made quite a name for yourself here, and your impact has been far larger than most others that I know of. And one of your threads was one of my first real experiences around the forum. It encouraged me to post some, so I'm glad I found it. Thanks for making it ("replace a word in a title with 'muffin'" or something like that), and the other great content that you've made on here.

Finally, I've always admired how openly you express yourself. You are you and you're not shy about it. It isn't often I see people like that online or off, and it earns my respect.

Here's to five more years!

You were just a sleeper member; you just did not know it at the time. But seriously, you have been a great member of this community, and I do hope you will continue to be one. Congratulations on 5 years.

Sometimes, I forget you've been here longer than I have.

Then again, sometimes I forget most people have been here longer than I have.

It's really surprising to find members who may not have done a ton but have always been around.

The past year though has more or less made up for the 3-4 years of relative inactivity.

Congratulations on attaining veteran status. I still have to wait 6 1/2 months for mine.

legacyme3 : I'd have to disagree my activity has been the same since around 2011, Just I don't think you never paid much attention to my posts because unlike today i wasn't a significant user... Whilst i will admit that's kinda changed in the last year alone...

Congrats Muffin on veteran status!!! I am glad to call you one of my friends even though we don't get to talk much I still consider you one of my good friends. I do hope your doing well! You have put a lot of work into the site and done a really great job! Great work !! *hugs*

Even though you did not write paragraphs about your friends it's not really important, your friends will understand that you have respect for them and that's why they're your friends. You are one of the most down to earth people here like you said yourself, which is why people either hate or like you. Although I'm usually formal, I'm very honest on here and in real life and it always is said that the Dutch attitude is very honest and directly, so that's probably a reason I like you around here. How does it feel being a veteran now huh? 
Anyways, I hope you will be able to achieve what you want, but with such a status, green name and forum you have some good chances. Stay cool dude.
