As of today, one of the coolest events of my life happened, I got nominated for an actual official award, and the funny part is, most of the reason I was nominated was thanks to stuff I have done here on vizzed.

The Award is called The Shorty Awards which are The Social Media Awards, and I was picked for the Blogger Award.

This page shows my little thing though it's probably useless now since voting closes in like 3 hours.

I probably won't come anywhere near winning, or even being a finalist, but being nominated is really cool and I'm actually going to try really hard to get nominated again next year and try to become a finalist.

The final two hours of the coting period was really intense. I ended up finishing off with 11 votes and I really didn't expect to get more than 3 in total on such short notice. The voting period was like a month long but I got my nomination halfway through the final day. Hopefully 11 votes can be enough for something noteworthy to happen.

There's bow a very small chance that I can be a finalist after reading the rules. The three nominees with the most votes for each category become finalist, 3 nominees for each will also become finalists after being reviewed by the judges and there's also a 7th best random finalist.

I might be able to pull 3rd for votes with my 11 if I'm really lucky or get picked by the judges.

Being nominated really helped my twitter, I got about 45 new followers in less than 12 hours.
