Okay so yeah we all know the DC was recently added along with a lot of other awesome updates, when I heard the DC was added I didn't think I would be able to play them cause PS1 games haven't exactly worked very well for me. To my surprise I load up Sonic Adventure just to see how it would fail and I it ran almost flawlessly, minus the one or two audio echoes and glitches.I tried out a few of the other DC games vizzed currently has and they ran pretty much the same, almost perfectly. I have never ran PS1 games this well which is weird considering DC games are supposed to be much harder to run! That is what has gotten me so confused. Take Spider-Man for PS1, the game is a mess to play for me with terrible audio echo, some lag, and input lag. The weird thing I have the same Spider-Man for PC and it runs perfectly. Take note that it is mostly 3D PS1 games that do this, 2D games like Castlevania Symphony of The Night run perfectly. So long story short I can play DC much better (I mean like I can play them perfectly but like I said audio glitches sometimes) then I can PS1 games, which simply doesn't make sense. Help?

Just a question to make sure I understand this correctly. You own the PS1 item, right?

Which PS1 games don't work for you?
Do you have other internet tasks running in the background?
Have you tried a wired connection to your router?
What other games Physical copies does your PC run with problems?

It may be that a game with "lower" specs runs fine, but something with "higher" specs doesn't work. I have no problems running some hard to process games, but problems with something that should be technically easier.

Well a new plugin has just been made available this week which would make DC games easier to run, which should be the reason why that those games are running so well, and I do believe that the PS1 games are also affected by this. If you haven't already downloaded the new plugin, do it and try to play some of the PS1 games again.

darthyoda : Yes I do own the PS1 item.
I don't have a specific list of PS1 games that don't work but 007 Everything or Nothing (I think is what it is called) works okayish, Spider-man, again, mostly 3D PS1 games (although 3D N64 games work just fine.) 2D games like Mega Man 8 and others work fine.
No I never have anything running in the backround.
I believe I already have that.
Um I think you misunderstood me the physical copy of Spider-Man I have works perfectly. While the emulated PS1 Spider-Man doesn't.

zanderlex : Well of course have the new plugin isn't that the only way to play the DC games in the first place? But funny thing I decided to test PS1 games out again like you suggested and upon trying Spider-Man once again (I don't know why this is the game I always test when it comes to PS1 games but whatever) a window popped up on the bottom saying something about a color scheme being incompatible and it had to go back to windows basic and that it would switch back to windows aero when it finished. Buut the only thing now the screen stays white or black and while I can hear things I can't see anything, this has never happened before. I'm going to see if any other PS1 games do this but I'm guessing they will. So now I can't even try them out to see if they work better. XD

I'm talking about PC games. If a game like Skyrim runs fine, but a game like Portal doesn't that could give some info on your PC problems, or lack of them. That's what I was asking, I guess I didn't state that clearly...

As Zanderlex said, I would suggest you download and install the new plug-in.

darthyoda : Oh I see sorry for misunderstanding. Well I can't really think of any other situation that has happened in. Also I DO have the new plugin, version 2.11 right? Ever since I did the screen just stays white/black now for only PS1 games. So I cannot see if they work better now. I'm going to look into it a little more there has to be a way to fix it.

If that didn't work, then it probably could be something with your computer.

zanderlex : Yeah I can probably figure that out myself. This wasn't really a help me thing more like a what the heck type thing and I was just curious as to why this would happen. Thanks.
