This is the first of play4fun’s AMA spotlight series. If you’re not an elite+ then you probably haven’t heard of this until now. That’s okay, it’s not too complicated.

It’s basically a revised system for Ask Anything threads.

The biggest change is that these threads will only last one week.
That means this one will only last until late February 14th.

I don’t know when’s the next time, if ever, that I’ll be able to do one of these, so feel free to ask as many questions as you want!

I’ll be myself, meaning my answers will be witty, funny, serious, or a combination of the three.

I chose Cafe Corner for a reason. You can ask serious questions if you wish.
That said, any and all questions are welcome, no matter how light hearted or ridiculous.

Hmm...well I'll try to keep this short and sweet (Yeah right. Since when do I keep comments or questions short?):

1. What would you say are your top five favorite games? Make that top six if one of them is Minecraft.

2. What do you think of the current generation console war, and which do you prefer (NOTE: I consider consoles and handhelds to be two different things. No such thing as a handheld console to me, so please exclude 3ds or Vita)? List PS4, Wii U, and XBox One in order of favorite to least favorite, please.

3. Don't you agree that Eirinn is awesome? What is your favorite game genre?

I started to ask more, but I suppose three is a healthy start to this thing. I'll bombard you with questions for the duration of this thread though, so don't get used to the peace and quiet.

   So, you've gotten to the point where you get your very own ask anything, huh? So, how long until all this fame goes to your head?

What are your thoughts on the ending of Legend of Korra (even though it is way past due and it was the hot topic not too long ago)?

I slept a lot, traveled a bit, and was far less productive than I wanted to be. =P

- Skyrim (PC and PS3)
- Minecraft (PC)
- GTA San Andreas (PC) - I'm not into the violence, but I am into the sandbox/open world to explore.
- Lego Star Wars (PS2)
- Battlefront II (PS2)
- Mario Kart (Wii)

As it turns out, I'm hooked onto all mainstream games. I guess that's why they're mainstream. =P

2) From best to worst: PS4, XBox One, Wii U.

About eight months ago I posted in a thread comparing the two. After researching them both, I'm pretty sure I came to the conclusion that the PS4 was better. I think it had to do with overheating issues with the XBox One. I know for sure I'd put the Wii U in third, as it doesn't look nearly as innovative as the other two.

3) Yes. Adventure. Or maybe open world, if that counts.

I thought it was rushed, and I thought it was okay... not incredibly satisfying.

As for the surprise Korra + Asami ending, I have no qualms with that. I do feel like it ended up being more of a headlines thing than something that flowed with the story. If they wanted to truly be revolutionary, they would have lead into it (and given more signs of it) much earlier.

Korra and Asami would have been a lot like Mako and Korra in season one. Just a normal relationship and beautiful ending, and not a "surprise". I think the fact that the creators had to come out and specifically state that it was the start of a relationship means that they didn't do it justice.

That said, I feel that as is, it should have ended with Mako and Korra, simply for Mako's heroics in the final episode and lack of a proper ending for Mako's character. I'm also heavily biased, because I think Mako is awesome.

I also blame Nick for cutting Korra's funding. It really had terrible consequence on the last season.


That said, it's crazy to know that I was 9 when I first started watching TLA, and now 9 years later, still keeping up with the series to finish Korra.

I grew up with the show, and it'll always feel special to me.

I haven't, haha. I've done some of it, and I just didn't have the drive to keep going.

I did spend hundreds of hours just exploring, buying houses, and playing multiplayer (which isn't that great).

That and Skyrim was basically 90% of how I spent last summer. I love it.

I haven't tried the iPad version. I wonder what that's like.

1) Not currently. I've been single since July of last year.

I've had a few chances to get back into a relationship, but I didn't want to deal with that stuff for a bit.

But I've started to talk with someone, and this time I might be ready to let it go beyond a friendship.

2) If I could choose any superpower, I'd fly.

3) Yes, but I think by the time that happens, we'll have bases on other planets and everyone will have been evacuated years in advance.

2) Only to suck their blood. I have. I've been to London, Zurich, and a few other places with my family. Nothing recently.

3) If I could do it, I probably would. I'd probably end up changing something inconsequential but a very long time ago, just so I could experience time travel.

4) I haven't. Chemical dependency is bad. tsk. tsk.

Instead when you think of me, you should picture pure awesomeness in human form.

Also you must not have a tried a lot of alcoholic beverages because whiskey is crap

I haven't tried many. Alcohol was surprisingly inaccessible. Plus, it tasted terrible.

Cigars were a much bigger fad.
I think the legal age for smoking is 18, which is why they were so easy to get.

I never got into those either as I was an athlete (runner).
Anything smoking-based was out of the question.

As for mrfe getting his own ask anything, I'm not sure.
