I have played Pokémon ever since the Blue, Red, and Yellow versions hit the stores. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to play those that require a Nintendo 2DS/3DS because I do not currently own either of said devices, but this will change in the semi-near future. Anyways, it was always fairly easy to keep up with the different Pokémon when there was only 150 in the original versions. As more and more games were developed the amount of Pokémon always seemed to increase. Not long after the next set of Pokémon versions came out, the original 150 Pokémon started to be taken out. This was upsetting since there were many original Pokémon that I would have loved to have had in the newer versions as well. That being said I did notice that once you beat the Black/White versions there is a place where you can run into some of the original Pokémon, but I am unsure of how many can be found.

Local Mods : How did this even get here? It's not even listed under a game or as a review. Maybe be moved to Pokemon?

Well they arent really taken out are they? Can't you bring some from your old games into a newer one?

zanderlex : Ahh, see I forgot that I skipped those versions because I didn't have a DS at the time. By the time I did get a DS Black and White had recently come out. Also, I unfortunately don't have another device to use for trading purposes.

zanderlex : How does it work? Is it anything like the games, or is it like the playing card game?

Its like the games, but its all in a thread, you say what you are going to do and then I say what the outcome is. It started off as a game where all you did was pick a Pokemon and battle other users to see who would win but now there's an entire world.

zanderlex : That's awesome that it evolved into something so popular. I'm not sure how good I would be at it though. I'm more of a visual type person. It helps to see what is happening in the games instead of reading it. Oddly, this is only for games though because I love to read. I do perfectly fine creating images for what I have read, so maybe I would do better than I think.

There's a lot more things to do here than in an actual game though since I can put in whatever I want, like there's going to be about 82 new Pokemon when the next game starts.

zanderlex : Do you mean you are creating 82 more Pokémon, or are there just that many that have been created but not added in the game play? Also it must take a lot of time, money, and resources to keep this game running. I'm assuming you are not the only person running/controlling the game. If so, what are you because there is no way you are human.

I am the only one running it because its easy. And it doesn't really cost anything. I created the 82, but they haven't really been added since the game hasn't started yet.

zanderlex : How did you come up with so many names and is it just names and attacks of Pokémon for this game, or are there pictures? If so, how in the world did you make up so many different visual characters for them?

There is a thread looking for names, most we made ourselves with also stats and moves, and some are taken from another site so they also have pictures.
