I just saw the trailer for a movie called Watership Down..... at first i was like ooo a movie about BUNNIES ............ just go watch it on Youtube...... IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A CHILDRENS MOVIE

I saw watership down, and I'm not sure I would call it a "children's movie". That scene when he has the dream where all the fields turn to blood. Also they do kill some rabbits where you see blood... definitely not for young kids, but fine for anyone old enough to watch Star Wars.

It was... good? But definitely not one of my favorites.

Hey GlazedKitten. Yeah I read this and hopped over to youtube to check it out. I knew the name sounded familiar but I had only seen bits of it ( apparently the bits I saw were not very violent ). Anyways I watched a couple of videos highlighting it and I'd have to say oh my god, what the hell was they thinking when they made this for kids. I would never let my grandkids watch or my kids when they were young watch this. It's very violent and extremely bloody. This is like something you'd see in a movie ( let me set the scene for you as I see it ) : You'd see some psycho teenager in a straight jacket sitting in the center of the room with a old color television that is steadily showing violent and bloody scenes from the movie with creepy music playing in the background ( for example : Climbing up the Walls by Radiohead or The Becoming by Nine Inch Nails ). Anyways yeah I agree it is creepy, violent, and very bloody. Nothing a very young kid should see ... ever.

But then again..... the movie is so unique compared to all the other movies.... no random singing out of nowhere.... just a dark animated thriller....
