So, I just noticed this for the first time today, but there's a cool page on Steam that shows some pretty cool stats for Steam.

One graph shows how many users are logged on at the same time for the past 48 hours, one shows the 10 most played games at the moment, and one even shows which countries download the most games.

For instance, over the last 48 hours, the most steam users on at once was just over 7.3 million, the most played game today is Dota 2 with just under 800,000 users playing at once, and Europe is downloading the most at 456.4 Gbps.


What do you think of these stats?

I noticed the feature a short while ago, sometime this week... I was blown away at how many users use Steam. It's just nuts to see that several hundred thousand users are online as the same time. Currently looking at the Stats it shows that 6 Million users were online. 

Something I would add into this thread just for information purposes is that there are also lists of how many users have used the Top used games within a certain time.

I remember back when Dota 2 didn't exist and the hypest game on Steam was Team Fortress 2. But holy crap, Dota 2 is huge right now.
