Ok so iv been trying to play one of the final fantasy games for psx and i just got the psx and it took about 20 minutes and it was at 20% and in the middle of it i bought the accelerator so that it wouldnt take forever to download. It didnt seem to be going any quicker so i restarted it hoping that the accelerator would help. Well iv spent going on 3 hours waiting for this 1 game to download without any programs or windows up besides the game itself and it made it to 71,3% and froze. So now i have to start over from 0%. I dont see it being my computer or provider because it typically only takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes to download any other games like gba nintendo's saga's ect. On top of the fact my computer is running perfectly fine on any other programs i use it on facebook game sites ect. Why is it taking so long to download is this normal? I tried to be descriptive so maybe this  would help but if anyone could let me know id appreciate it thank you.

You have to keep in mind that PSX games are quite large compared to most of the other games here.
They are anywhere between 300mb to 2gb per game.

You also have to look at the times you are trying to download/play. During certain times, it will tend to be slower since there are so many more people downloading games from the site.

vanelan : Thank you for your observation but im only running into more problems as i go on. iv still yet to get a full game to download. They always either reset on their own or freeze to where im always back at 0%. and half the psx games it wont even let me begin the download for them. i dont understand why because my laptop should be more then capable of handling any file size thrown at it. its just recently been cleaned and reset so im clueless to whats going on. rgr staff has yet to say anything back to me.

raceco : I recommend:

1) Purchase the Download Accelerator from the Item Shop. This improves the speed of the downloads especially for PSX games due to their incredible size.

2) Try multiple browsers. I like Chrome and Mozilla. Chrome has a built-in shockwave flash that sometimes conflicts with Flash (Refer to 3). Mozilla is a very good and sometimes better alternative to Chrome because it somehow runs video a little more smoothly. You have other alternatives as well... Safari, Opera etc.

3) In Chrome, check out your plugins. Type " http://plugins " into the URL at the top and try disabling Pepper Flash (If there are multiple options that look similar, try each 1 at a time).

4) Download CCleaner. Why? Because I said so... You can delete all history / fix registry errors / disable specific startup programs. Delete all history, especially cookies. Analyze and fix registry errors because they'll sometimes conflict with the internet (I don't know why they do). Disable unnecessary start up programs (This helps regulate what's running in the background, especially crap you don't need).

5) Delete any unnecessary programs you will never use (CCleaner has an option for this too - Also helps if you get a virus program that deletes "Uninstall" on a specific program).

6) Run Disk Defragmentor - just to keep the pc clean

7) Do you have anti-virus? or a Router? Check your firewalls, even disable them for a moment to see if the situation improves. Vizzed Retro Game Room Plugin should be trusted.

8) Run a pc search for "Plugin Data Folder". It will have the V vizzed logo. In order for it to work properly you need a download of the Plugin to exist in your downloads folder. When you enter the file, you should search for PSX and delete any PSX games which are not downloading properly. This is to ensure you can download a fresh clean copy. Try downloading the psx games again.

If you are continuing to experience problems, experiment with your internet. Try improving your signal strength, if wireless, or downloading when nobody else is using your network. There's not much else that can be done. Chances are, you'll need to give your download an ample amount of time to download. It is slow, even with the Download Accelerator from the Item Shop.

I'm sending you 9k Viz to get the Download Accelerator. Anyone who wants to play Suikoden, should be able to

Fireproof: Just FYI, the download accelerator does not affect the speed of psx downloads.
We had this confirmed by David.
