I deffinately agree Naruto is better as a series... Ash was a horrible trainer and seriously what was up with the super over powered pikachu that could beat just about any opponent? in reality Brock's onix would have destroyed him... The only real redeeming thing about pokemon is it has a good outline but they went about making it in the wrong way... it had so much potential and they ruined it! so sad =[...

I can't stand Naruto. The show is irritating and boring, it's nothing new or special.
Also it spurned a new generation of dumb kids who think their cool and like anime.

I agree with Dark on the Naruto following... i've known wayyyyy too many annoying kids that think they're the coolest thing since Beetleborgs (not that they even know what that is) STRICTLY on the fact that they watch naruto and wear the fan clothes and such... it's rather irritating... Naruto shippuden is really great though honestly even if you don't like the original series when they're kids... I can totally see where you're coming from when you say it's annoying and nothing special though it does have it's entertainment value...

I prefer Pokemon. I just think pokemon is better...well the new ones aren't that great but the old ones are pretty nice. And I'd have to say, Pokemon was one of my childhood TV shows. I just can't stand watching Naruto in English. I can in like Japanese, but like half of the the whole Naruto thing is like....flash backs. It's like a Korean Drama (if you've seen one).

But,these two shouldn't be compared,they attract entirely different audiences.Naruto,attracts people who like violence,blood,ninjas,mad fillers, and easy storyline.While Pokemon attracts people who like animal related creatures fighting,800+ episodes, and no intense violence nor mild language.Naruto should be compared with DBZ or One piece or Fullmetal Alchemist and Pokemon should be compared with Digimon(Over thousand times this has happened) and Dinosaur King.But hey this is my opnion.

I'd say Naruto. The new Pokémon episodes are Terrible, and I haven't seen the old episodes of Pokémon, which people claim to be awesome. Also, I ******* hate the kids at my chinese school (6 to 16 year olds or in Australian terms p-12) playing Pokémon cards. So damn irritating!
As for why I like Naruto, It's storyline was was better than Pokémon. Although I have to admit Naruto is kind of like a drama (So many sad-type moments), the show is much more mature than Pokémon. What I mean by that is that the storyline is more progressive, unlike Pokémon, Ash is like 16 or something years old, and he still acts and looks the same. And also, the whole story is a little 'continuous tensed', the story never really moves on.

Anyways, this is my opinion, and don't insult my opinion. A lot of what I said might be wrong to you, but as I just said, this is what I think.
