Today my touchscreen got broken somehow. this may seem like a joke but it isn't. use a dry toothbrush to clean the sides of the touchscreen, and then it should start working. may not work for some but it did work for me.

GlazedKitten : I never heard of that trick before but I might need to use it soon! I haven't cleaned my 3DS screen for a couple of months now but it's been fine and there seems to be no loss of touch sensitivity .

If your Nintendo 3DS touch screen breaks, there's two options. Go to the System Settings and look for a calibration option somewhere. Follow the steps for the recalibration rules and then your done, but that's if your touch screen doesn't respond. The other option is that if your touch screen cracks, send it to Nintendo (and possibly with warranty) and they'll fix it, because you know; Nintendo will do anything for their audiences to keep them happy at all costs (UNLIKE MASAHIRO SAKURAI).
