Donkey Kong Country for the SNES all the way. Loved it, loved it, loved it. It's up there with Super Metroid in my favorite SNES games. Second one was Donkey Kong 64, and I really liked it too. Makes me kind of sad that Nintendo seems to have given up on him, save for those annoying Donkey Konga game and the horrendous Barrel Blast....

Ahh, you noobs. Only one of you has played it on the NES. I don't know if there were any before that, but I think Donkey Kong for the NES was the very first game of the series. Mario had the jump up ramps of steel beam going across the screen, jumping over barrels thrown down by Donkey Kong himself, and rescue some girl named Paula. Who, I might add, is never seen again in any game made by Nintendo. I think Mario dumped her ass for Peach.

Wouldn't expect you guys to have even seen that game since most of you here weren't alive back in the 1980's. If you get the chance, you should play it. I think it might be in the Vizzed game collection.
