Are you gonna get the new Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U, or the remake of Ocarina of Time, or both?

hackerman : The Main storyline is basically everyone wants to get the Triforce for their own ends. Ganon gets pretty close most of the time but is always defeated. There are a couple of stories that differ slightly, but the Triforce is the usual goal. The main heroes would be Link & Zelda.


spectergaj : I haven't tried the Wii Motion Plus yet but I am anxiously looking forward to its application in SS. Slightly more realistic sword fights should be interesting. Just be careful of your TV. :p


thelegendofzeldafan : I would have to say the hardest one would be the one from TP. I haven't finished the game yet but from the videos I've seen of the battles, it's definitely harder than the other two. I would put TWW's Ganon battle slightly ahead of OoT's only because Ganon is better at blocking in that one & he's slightly less predictable.


pi0x : I will most likely get Zelda Wii U. When I get it is another story.
I'm not sure if I want to get OoT for the 3DS though I am considering it. It would be interesting to see the features in 3D. I heard the camera is a bit wonky when you aim in first person while the 3D feature is on though.

Do you think nintendo should have continued with LoZ games in the style of the original game?

How much times did you finish Link to the Past?

What about Ocarina of Time?

For me, I beat Link to the Past twice, and Ocarina of Time zero.

big fat cat : It depends on the system it's made for. If it's a home console, I think 3D would be better & if it's for a handheld, I think top-down would be better. This is just my preference though.

ALttP: Too many to count

OoT: Not sure. Maybe as many, maybe a bit more since once I defeated OoT, I'd play MM & then start the cycle over. Once I got TWW, I added that to the mix. Now that I have TP, it will be added as well.

As for putting it into numbers........I'd have to say around 10ish times for ALttP & maybe a bit more for OoT. I may have finished ALttP more times if I didn't have so much fun running into things/messing with the Magic Powder/ terrorizing cuccos.........hmmm......I also terrorized them in OoT.....

OK let me start by asking the basic question which I didn't see on the first page of this thread.

What's your favorite Zelda game and why? Do you have a favorite from OoT?

YourMajestyKen : My favorite Zelda game would most likely be MM with TWW hanging a close 2nd although I've noticed it will switch between the two once in a while(not sure why :/ ). It's mainly MM though. The story is the main reason why I like any game although the factor of the different masks helps MM a bit.

As for "favorite from OoT", I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean favorite thing to do in OoT or favorite between the original, MQ, & 3DS versions?

YourMajestyKen : Then that would definitely be the Gerudo Valley theme. As for ocarina songs, Requiem of Spirit would be my favorite.

septembern : Not many of my friends are actually into video games but I know a few that enjoy the Zelda games.


The last time I played a Zelda game was a couple of days ago. I just reached the Temple of Time in TP.


alexanyways : TWW. I like the story better. It also shows a slightly(I stress slightly) softer side of Ganon for a brief moment before the final battle begins. At least I like to imagine it's a softer side.


I've never played Spirit Tracks before. I don't know if I want to either. It isn't because of the reviews, it's because my hand really cramped up when I played Phantom Hourglass. They make the stylus too small.

Yeah, the styluses are too small.

I don't have Four Swords Adventures but I would like to have it. I've played a little bit of it & enjoyed what I played. I may also get Spirit Tracks. Just don't tell my hand that. :p

I don't have a 3DS but I'd get one if they remastered MM. It would depend on the price at the time though.
