Surgiac : Links disappearance from the continuity when he pulls the master sword would be the key.
As soon as he drew it it caused a ripple effect causing two timelines.
This is just my best guess as all that has been said by anyone from the dev team (by Eiji Aonuma) is that "Ocarina of Time had two endings, one where Link was a child, and another where he was an adult".

I suppose that makes the most sense but it still bugs me that everyone except Link exists in both timelines. I'm still trying to figure this one out too.

It doesnt really bug me because as I see it Link caused himself to vanish from existance so to everyone it's like he died as a kid so that's why he only exists in one of the worlds.
That's why certain characters are like "oh, you remind me of this boy I met once a long time ago" cause they met Link as a boy but then he vanished so they thought he died or something.

Now for a question- I played a bit of ST on the DS (it really annoyed me that you had to do everything with the stylus, feels bad moving around without a pad or stick, what was my question again?) PH uses the stick too doesn't it?
Do people/you actually like playing games this way?

It depends on the game. I thought it was fun in PH but it certainly cramped my hand up from time to time. I kind of wished some of those games would let you move with the directional buttons & just used the stylus to aim or something, kind of like in Metroid Prime Hunters. The thing about the controls in PH that really bugged me was rolling. I just couldn't seem to make Link roll when I wanted him to & when I did actually get him to roll, he'd always roll off of a cliff or something & land in the water.

I really like Zelda II: The Adventure of Link! Do you like that game also and think its awesome?

Oh yeah why does link have such an attitude and always says "Well excuse me! Princess!"?

AoL was a refreshing change to the series but I still prefer the top-down perspective. I did enjoy playing it even though it isn't as high on my list.

The "Well excuse me, Princess!" thing was just something they did for the cartoon & isn't really considered canon. Out of all of the games, that cartoon Link doesn't fit any of the other Link's personalities. I never really cared for the show.

so whats your theory on how link can throw a massive goron or a 1 normal sized goron with just the iron boots? I mean wouldn't he still be pushed over like his spine would break or he would still be simply pushed over?

big fat cat : Depends on which generation of Link you're talking about. OoT Link & ALttP Link could if either one was wearing their respective gauntlets/gloves. Not sure what the SS Link can do yet. AoL Link could possibly do it with magic. The others might be able to. Plus we also need to take into consideration the fact that they all represented the Triforce of Courage. There's no telling what powers the Triforce can bestow.

Videogamegod : Taking into consideration all of the weapons, I'd have to vote for either the Double Helix Sword you use when wearing the Fierce Deity's Mask or the Four Sword. The Double Helix Sword is incredibly strong but its downfall is the fact that the Mask can only be worn during boss fights. As for the Four Sword, it can make three copies of the original, making whatever it does four times as strong.

As for the most all around cool weapon, I'll make a special nod to any of the hammers in the series. It's just so fun to bonk the baddies on the head with them.

EDIT: Due to an earlier conversation, I felt I should mention TP Link. All of the Links seemed to be stronger than normal men. The fact that TP Link was a farmer should make him slightly stronger than the other Links without the aid of the Triforce since he actually worked with his hands more than the rest although TMC Link's grandfather was a blacksmith so he probably had a bit of physical strength himself. So their life experiences should make them strong enough to lift Gorons without much trouble.

pokepower101: Link opened the door to the Sacred Realm when he pulled the Master Sword from its pedestal but he was too young to wield it in a fight so he was sealed away until he grew. Ganon took that opportunity to sneak in & touch the Triforce. Since Ganon wasn't in balance, the Triforce separated & the Triforce of Power remained with him while Wisdom & Courage went to Zelda & Link respectively.

alexanyways : Midna by far. At least she can fight instead of just yelling, "Listen!" or "Hey!".

vizwiz123 : I would give the villains that were only in one game more screen time. I personally wouldn't mind it if every game had Ganon in them but I do think the others deserve a bit more of the spotlight than they're receiving.

The least desirable Zelda games probably would be the CD-I ones. I've seen videos of them but I've never played them(thankfully).

As far as mainstream games go, the least desirable games in my opinion would be a tie between Zelda II & Phantom Hourglass. While I personally like Zelda II, the difficulty turns plenty of people away from it. As for Phantom Hourglass, the story wasn't too terribly exciting & it made my hand cramp up quite a bit. That makes me wonder how Spirit Tracks would treat my hand.

What are your impressions on the Wii Motion Plus and its role in Skyward Sword?

alexanyways : I've actually played two out of the three CD-I games (Zelda: Wand of Gamelon and Link: Faces of Evil). They were a nightmare. Nintendo should have never given some of the rights to philips.

What do you think is the hardest gannondorf boss fight, the one from ocarina of time, the one from wind waker, or the one from twilight princess.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
