This is going to be a really random strange question... one ive thought about for a long time, but Im wondering what your thought on it all would be..

Why do you think Tails is a Guy instead of a girl? Thinking over alot of the Older games ive realised that Tails fits many of hte classical girl/ princess themes.
1. hes blong
2. HEs been captured multiple times forcing the hero to come and rescue him.
3. Has a special power that makes his game easier to play.
4. Despite being just as strong as the Main character, he is constantly portrayed as the second fiddle or as an Extra in game plots.
5. HEs a cute and adorable little character in contrast to Sonic, whos the cool guy who has some sort of attitude. Tails is the one who Almsot constantly looks adorable.

Well, what are your thoughts on this? o.O

Well... he is a guy because he is... SEGA made him

However if you looked in the beta versions of Sonic 2, you might see the design as a girl, this is because SEGA wanted it to be a girl but well for no known reason at all, changed it.

And I can't really remember many moments where tails was captured, only the game gear and master system versions of Sonic 2 (I keep getting to two mixed up).

And special power that makes the game easier is quite common, I mean you need someone for the starters to learn how to play.

And cuteness can be in both guys and girls.

well... I think the theme song from Sonic adventure is kind of...well...weird for a guy. Making him a bit like...let say..."childish"(even though he is 8).

lol well I Always think of it because all of my siblings who first play tails.. Always call Tails a girl simply because hes the cute and fluffy one. I regularly get into arguments with my 6 year old sister about tails being a guy not a girl (though it probably doesn't help that I have as many in game vocals as Japanese instead of english.. But having watched alot of anime.. Im kinda biased about English editing and voice acting.. nothing personal I just prefer subs over dubs.. even in my games.. LOL)

Have you ever read any of the sonic novels? Or watched that old sonic tv show which was like a rock band or something? What did you think? I loved the tv show, and the books were pretty good too.

1. I dunno, I dislike the Sonic disgin, and since it is on the VC and stuff which I have no access too, I don't really care.

2. I dislike Shadow, I always thought he "stole" Sonic's true fame, I wished he does not exist, he is really useless to the Sonic series and making more fanboy and girl arguments then ever.
