I don't think MAME has a pause button.

I know that the arcades they emulate certainly didn't.

5 - Insert Coin
1 - Start
Arrows - Move
Ctrl - Action Button 1
Alt - Action Button 2
Space - Action Button 3
Mouse - Analog Control (needed for some games)
P - Pause
ESC - Quit MAME
F2 - Service Mode
Tab - MAME Options Menu

and there is also the pause button. So, it is strange that it does not work with the plugin.

While those are the default MAME controls, this RGR uses a custom build of it that does not allow for pausing.

There is probably a way to manually set a key to pause in the cfg, but hardly worth the effort.
