Clayton 2 : RF? That is used to power game consoles like the nes, snes, and turbo grafx. I think RF also works with antennas that you screw in to the RF (not the rabbid ears). I now have a flat screen and got rid of my 2003 Sanyo CRT television. At the time it was in our living room, i thought it was cool but since i saw a flat screen, i really hated the look of the CRT once we put it in our room. Whats the oldest tv you have?

mostcheats43 : I don't have any bad TVs anymore but the worst one I ever had was a tiny Toshiba TV it was by no means bad but it wasn't anywhere near as good as the others I've had.

mostcheats43 : for some reason, the reply to post button isn't working for me.

Anyhoo, RF was the analog (now digital and superior) antenna input on pretty much every TV. Since some televisions only had this jack on the back, and not the ever so superior RCA connectors as to cut the cost, many devices carried an RF output that emulated over the air channels; usually 3 and 4. This resulted in fuzzier picture and poorer sound quality. That's what I meant about that.

The oldest TV is have isn't my worst. It's a RCA Colortrack 2000 television made in 1989. This has a built in amp for stereo speakers, video and audio passthroughs, and an s-video input (better than the composite). This would have been like owning a super nice smart TV today.
