Man, in Super Smash Bros 4, Falco was really brought down, or at least it feels like it.He can't dodge quickly, his gun is excessively slow, and it's lost it's range.He still has some fast swings, and his Down + B is nice.But everything else is quite different.

Do you think this was cheap? Or much needed?

Sword legion : Many characters got nerfed... I think the worst nerf in the game was definitely Ice climbers, they got nerfed so bad they were deemed unplayable. Yes Falco is ass in this game compared to melee. Also, what do you mean by Down +? If you mean Dair, its not too good in this game compared to melee and brawl.

I have never played Melee, I got Brawl, and yeah, I heard how bad it was compared to Melee. Smash U is way better than Brawl, everyone agrees on that unless you're that angry about losing Snake and Wolf.

It wouldn't surprise me what you said about Melee though either.

Falco, I haven't played much with in Smash 4. But something does feel off about him. He jumps a bit higher, but his gun is DEFINITELY slower than Brawl. In Melee, he was just a clone of Fox. Literally 0 differences. But I kind of liked his retooling in Brawl, with a different working reflector, and moves that are original. But here, I think they do less damage. Maybe he's better with air moves? I'm not too sure. I guess you could say that he

Look on the bright side though. I think almost every character is fair and not going to lose to one character. So all of the characters are more even in strength and I like that.

Sword legion :   Falco's reflector isn't actually good in this game but, can be made much better with customs.

A user of this : He can't SHFFL anymore, he can't kill easily with Dair anymore, he cant shine spike anymore. Also, in melee fox and falco have some differences. One main thing is how fox's Upair is usually a kill move for him at low percents and his Upsmash. But falco's usually is his Dair which can kill pretty easily. His Upair isnt nearly as good as fox's
