Anyway, Origin has an offer they refer to as on the house where they give you games for free.
All you have to do is download and install Origin and make an account.

Then go to the store page, hover over Free games and click On The House.
Finally, to download the game, put your mouse cursor over the game's image and a download link will show up.

This week is Sim City 2000.

Enjoy~

I am not much of a fan of orgin, but I wish I knew of this earlier because SIM city 2000 is my 2nd favorite game of all time. Do they only do old games like this one or some modern ones?

The main reason I use Origin is because of the Humble Bundle: Origin which included a lot of their new games for as low as $15 (highest tier package). They also have quite a bit of Free Games available. One I'd recommend if you like racing games is Need For Speed World. It's a simple design yet fun, fast paced, and racing against other players is a bonus. Not much lag either even for my slow internet speeds.

They just added Chat rooms to their client so now we can talk with our friends via Origin!

vanelan : Yeah, every once in the while I'll run into people using speed mods and they finish 3 lap races before most finish 1 lap but in my 3-4 hour sessions it only happens once or twice. I don't do a lot of PvP races anyway.
