This is my first forum post since I've joined back in 2012 (which isn't a good thing.) and it is a problem I've had with Netplay, it works fine for systems like the Sega Genesis (MegaDrive)... or actually, anything Sega to be honest, my problems lie with the SNES and N64, which immediately black screen and give off intense lag as soon as I host a server or join one. I've been perfectly fine playing them in single player, but when a friend wants to play the SNES or N64, it doesn't work. How do I fix this problem?

P.S. thing: When are the MAME and GBA getting their Netplay, and how do I pass first player controls to someone who's playing or in the spectators?

Yikes, I didn't think I'd have to bump this so soon. It already got buried under the other forums, these forums really need to be re-organised or at least make it so new threads like these don't get overshadowed by more popular threads or things of that sort. Anyways, still no luck on my end and I haven't found any other threads with this sort of problem, if anyone knows how to fix this, would be much appreciated.
Also, if it is of any use, I use Google Chrome as my browser.

N64 and SNES have issues with netplay in the emulator versions used by the RGR.

Its not you, its the emulators

So until the plugin gets updated, there is nothing that can be done about it.

GBA does not have a stable netplay platform. Its going to be a long time before that ever happens.

MAME, although there is a version that does have netplay, is waiting for an RGR plugin update as well.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news...

Thanks, man, I'm glad I'm not the only one having these problems.
I've had stable GBA netplay before though, I'd have to find the emulator that did it, but I'd be happy to send it in if I find it.
Now only thing left to do is to find how to pass player one/two controls to other people.

What exactly do you mean by pass the controller?

If you mean change to p1 in netplay, one solution I can think of is if you have 3 people in a session,  p1 and p2 can leave, p2 rejoins as p1 and can take over.

Say if like for example I wanted to make a "tournament" and I'm player one, we have a full house in spectators and players, I lose, I want to pass player 1's controls to a spectator.
Or even if I just needed to head out we got REALLY far into a game. How could I pass player 1 controls to someone else? Is what you said the only way I could do that?

Ah well, I'm okay with that for now I suppose, I really hope some sort of update comes out that changes that, also I haven't tested it again since I last tried it, but the emulator that I mentioned was Boycott Advanced. It has mostly fluid Netplay, I've also had smooth Netplay with VBA but the newer versions only run at around 50% speed, even with throttle on.
