OK So we've had a bit of a discussion in the December VCS thread.
It was about how we could get active threads.
Gameplay had an idea for a thread that you can talk about all the news.
But I sort of modified that to a whole forum dedicated to News.
I think it would be great to have it.
You could start a thread about a interesting or funny news article you found online. Then put a link in for it. Then everyone could discuss it.
I seriously think this idea would be awesome.

I know I personally would post a heap in there.
As long as people don't post every single story they come by and just post interesting ones then it would be great.

I personally don't think an extra forum is needed for "news" as there are plenty of spots one could slot different news articles into.
For example political stories would go in Debate and Logic, movie news would go in Entertainment, world issues could go in Café Corner, etc etc.

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon of this thread and ask if anyone else thinks that the "conservative" part of the Christian Conservative forum should join up with the debate/news forum...

I just don't see why christian and conservative fit together.... I figure conservative at least points towards politics which would go better into the news forum than not.

Not that the christianity forum gets much activity.... but at maybe this way the newbies might get that it is a religious forum.... and that the other is politics/news etc...
