It's been a little inactive, but that's because most of the mods of it have been busy in one way or another. Once we actually get around to doing something in here, I expect to see more activity.

How good is your memory actually?

Heh. Surprisingly nobody's ever asked me that question.

It's not as good as it was early 2013, when I was training it competitively.

I could memorize a random deck of cards (54 cards with both numbers and symbols) in a little over 3 minutes, and my times were dropping quickly.
I was pretty good at memorizing large numbers, tons of facts, names and faces, and sometimes poetry.

I used it with school, and it helped a lot.

Naturally my memory is pretty good at quite a few things. But it was terrible at quick recall.

That's when I started training it. I hope to pick up the hobby again sometime.

I still use the same techniques for college work though.

How did you come up with the idea to do tai chi?

Didn't really come to me. I noticed the class had an opening and took it.

I thought it was a weak martial art at first, but after I got into it, I started enjoying it.

It's actually where waterbending comes from in Avatar: the Last Bender (and to some extent in Avatar: The Legend of Korra).

I don't know if you've watched that show, but I'm a big fan. Anyway, it's cool to learn many of the exact same moves from the show in real life.

Do you plan on staying a Game Reviewer indefinitely?

I don't know.

I've mostly kept the role because I enjoy reviewing (I spend quite a bit of time on each of my reviews) but also because there's no official "role" for the other RGR contributions I do, such as answering RGR PMs or moderating the RGR forum.

I like to be a part of the RGR aspect of the site, because it's pretty great. I also like to weigh in on RGR-related issues and new hires as a part of that staff.

Eventually, I'd like to become solely a Review Reviewer, but I'd like to be reading reviews posted in there daily before that could happen. I don't think I currently have the experience needed.

What level of realism do you think makes a sports game a sports game?

It depends what the developers are going for. If they are going for a more "fun" style, like Mario games, then it doesn't need to be that realistic since the theme of the game is more about Mario than the sport. If it is supposed to be realistic though, it should be as realistic as possible while still making the game fun to play.

What is your favorite EA NHL game? Why?

mrfe : Has to be NHL 14. NHL 15 is probably the worst. In my opinion each game kept getting better and better until 15. 14 was by far the most fun game for me. It had tons of different game modes, very fun gameplay, and was just overall a very fun game. 13 wasn't bad either, but there were a lot of new dekes added in 14.

What's your beef with NHL '15?

Boxia : NHL 15 is not a complete game. At all. It is missing so many game modes, such as EASHL, Season, Shootout, etc., it is very glitchy, the whole interface is bad, the HUT cards look like crap, the gameplay is nowhere near as good as previous games, etc.

Not really. I don't mind them, but I don't really care for them.

pokemonfangirl : I don't really have a favorite band, I just like the genre in general. I'm not really into music that much. If I hear a cool song I'll download it, but I don't really follow specific bands to see when their new songs come out and stuff like that.

No I don't play any instruments. I played the trumpet in 4th grade but I quit after one year.

tgags123 : It seems you are a big hockey fan (and so am I, my second favorite sport behind football), but allow me to ask you a question about college football. I know the NCAA Football franchise is no longer making any games, but I have heard that college football will have a new game coming out in the Summer of 2015 under a new name. In my opinion, the NCAA Football games have been really good, and darn near perfect. I'm excited to see this new game, but I don't know how it could be any better than the EA Sports version.

My question to you is, what do you think this "new name" college football game will be like?
