I'm crazy about retro gaming. I used to have a game boy color (the sea foam/teal colored one) and a gba sp tribal edition. Sadly I gave them away years ago plus all my games of it. I regret that immensely but luckily I managed to acquire a gba and a pink gba sp a few weeks ago. And since then, I've been unstoppable.

I used to have a Sega as well, so I'd love to own one again some day!
Never had a nes, snes or n64 myself, but I will definitely buy those consoles some day too. In the future. Because at the moment, I'm still studying and being a student is rather expensive : p So this is the perfect alternative until that day.

Whoever came up with the idea for this website, I'm incredibly grateful! Of course I know of the existence of emulators and roms and such, but the idea of those always make me really uncomfortable because it's illegal. So I am stoked now that I've found a legal way to play them.

I love newer game consoles like ps2, ps3 and Wii too of course. I don't own the next gens yet, but after my birthday, I'm going to buy a WiiU. It looks great. But retro gaming does have a very special place within my heart. There's nothing that beats that unique gaming experience. However, I do enjoy a good modern platformer like Rayman or a great RPG. My favorite being the Kingdom Hearts series. And Final Fantasy naturally. Dragon Quest as well. I haven't played a lot of other rpg's besides those, so I'm always looking for great suggestions.

Other than gaming, I love fanfiction. Yes, I'm the typical fangirl : p (I'm into quite a lot of fandoms, but I'll spare you guys the list XD) Occasionally I even write some too, but I keep those only to myself. Drawing is a passion as well. I study Graphic Design, but of course my ultimate dream would be to become concept artist ^w^

As you can probably tell, I'm very talk/typeative. If that's annoying, you can always tell me. Among my friends I'm known as the queen of textwalls :p I won't be offended if you tell me and will try my best to tone it down.

But for those like me who like to talk a lot about anything at all, I'm always up for that : D

why hello there, nice meeting you. I am raremew, I'm pretty new to this site myself. Seems you had a lot of the good consoles that's cool. I know I owned a Snes when I was younger, it was one my favorite consoles I ever owned. Anyways, its nice to meet you if you need anything just ask me and hope we can be friends or something

Oooh, a snes, they seem so awesome. One day I'm definitely going to buy one. The consoles I now own are ps2, ps3 and Wii and I like them, I wouldn't want to give them away or sell them or anything, but I'd love to get my hands on the old ones. And I think that if I'd have those, I'd probably play on those more than on the newer ones ^^' Maybe it's because of nostalgia, I'm not sure. But I think retro games have this uniqueness that newer games don't have.

That being said, my long term goals are to buy a WiiU and next year the new Nintendo 3DS XL though. Just because I don't want to buy it again at the end of its lifespan, which was the case with my ps2 and Wii.

Hi Raidyn. I love RPG's, next to platformers, it must be my favorite genre. I haven't played a lot of RPG's yet though, and definitely never on the snes. If you have any recommendations, I'll be happy to hear them : D Then I can try them out here. Hopefully, because at the moment, I'm still having problems with the RGR plugin. But I hope someone will be able to help solve it. I posted my problem in the Retro Game Room forum on the plugin thread, so I'm sure I'll get help soon.
