Most of you may not know but I've been playing tabletop RPG systems for about 3 years now, in both rolls, as a GM (A.K.A Game Master) and as a player.
For those who do not know what a tabletop RPG (Role-playing game) is, let me try to explain. (I'm not the best at the explaining part but lets see how I do) a tabletop RPG is a type of RPG where the players take control of characters that they have made and set off in a setting made by the Game Master. The players chose what there players have to do and at times may have to roll dice to see if you are able to or not. You also roll dice in combat.
Now that's all fine and good but you may be asking yourself "Greatman, why are you posting all this info?" Good question. The main reason that I am posting this is because I want to run a few games throughout the week and I want to try and get people who maybe haven't been able to get into Tabletop games but have always wanted to try them out into one. I know for me, for the longest time I wanted to try out D&D but I was never able to get into a game until someone offered me a chance to join.
So how is this going to work. Anyone can ask to join, and what day (out of the ones available) and what time (again out of the ones available) and what system (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V) they want to join. Out of what I get I'll try to put together groups (I'm able to run groups of 4-6, but if only 3 people join on a day, I'll do something to make it work).
Now the days I am currently available (WARNING: I am working part time right now ((not ideal for me but it gives me a little cash)) so if work pops up on a day during the time that I would be running the game ((most likely it won't but still, just in case)) I will have to skip a week ((I will send a heads-up to all players involved in that game))) is Monday to Thursday ((If any other days open up I'll be sure to post an update))
Now for times ((all times will be put up in Central Time or CT) Each day I am able to run the game from 10 AM (CT) to 6 PM (CT). I will have in each session a 10-20 minute break.
Finally what games am I able to run. The games I am most familiar with are D&D 4e and Pathfinder, but I should be able to run games in these systems as well ((Just will be a little harder for me but I know people, they'll help me))
D&D 3.5
Shadowrun
Mutants & Masterminds
Naruto d20 (max 3 people)
These are the ones that I will have a easier time finding stuff for. If you want to try a Tabletop RPG that's not on the list, please also post it.
If you do have an interest please reply to this post and I'll pm you with the info on the game once I can fill a group.
