I've been scouring this subforum and didn't find any relevant information that was newer than three years ago. So here's a question for the technology buffs. I'm looking for a video editing program, preferably one that also includes webcam recording and screen recording capabilities.

I downloaded SmartPixel, but when I got to the editing stage of the video making process I couldn't figure out a way to edit the video to any level finer than a second. Problematic? I think yes. I'm looking for something that doesn't take up much space on my PC, and the simpler the better to minimize lag.

Any suggestions? Thank you all in advance for your help.

That editing program that you are asking cost somewhere between $200-$1000 dollars. So hers free alternatives that youtubers used everyday, the editing program you want is "VSDC free video editor" its like Sony Vegas but free and its easier to use. The recording one that might be best is BB Flashback express, it offers webcam, unlimited recording, and its free. The only downside to bb flashback is that you must export it if you need it to edit the video.
