100/100 on an English Vocabulary Test, and 23/20 on a French Test I Didn't Even Study For!

Hi!

I don't know how to say this without sounding like I'm bragging, but...

I got a full grade on my most recent English vocabulary test, and I'm feeling great about it! Plus, it was considered "difficult" since I'm in the highest English level of 8th grade! That isn't the best part, though...

I got a 23 out of 20 on my most recent French test, and I didn't even study for it! Well, maybe I scanned through my copybook for two minutes before the test began...

Anyway, it was actually a 19 out of 20, but I wrote a short story in the bonus section. Even that wasn't perfect, as there were a few grammar mistakes, but my teacher said that she loved the idea and my effort, so she gave me a +4, and then my final grade became 23 out of 20 .

The fact that I didn't even study for the test yet still got a great grade makes me happy because it's a sign that my French, studying excluded, is just getting better in general, and I am able to tackle more challenges now since my knowledge has expanded! I'm in the highest French level of my grade, too !

Reminds me of that time i got 96% on a supposedly super-hard math test that i never even studied for.

Now, don't take this the wrong way, but whenever I studied for something, I would always fail it. When I didn't study? I would pass! I don't know why that is, but it is. So I can't say that I am really surprised that you passed when you didn't study.

I'm one of those people who actually had to try, especially in english/foreign language/history to do well.

In math/science/political science I didn't have to try nearly as much, but I still had to try. =P
