Local Mods : Is this the right place for it? It seems like the best fit, but I don't know.

I want to know, how do I play Star Wars Republic Commando with a friend? I am hoping to play it, but I can't get GameRanger to work... Does anyone know about a program that does hosting? GameSpy shut down, quite a few months ago, and this gave me issues with Battlefront II, but GameRanger came to the rescue. But now, I can't get it to work. (Republic Commando) Can you help?
