But 4th is possible. Just depends on how hard Gameplay works at it. My guess is that you'll get a lead over him... he's not posting enough to maintain top 5

it doesn't matter how many posts you make. You could make 1000 posts a day... as long as Joe gets 2-3 less points than you a day he'll still beat you. You don't have to keep up with someone in raw post count in order to win. There is more strategy to winning the VCS than just being able to out post the other people. It's about maintaining a lead strategically once you've got it.

EDIT: Also I am one of the only members the get banned then unbanned half way through a VCS but is able to catch up,right?

Basically you have to not only hold a high position but you also need to hope that the people above you don't score much on the day as well.
Gameplay helped me out with that yesterday by getting into 5th, he bumped geeogree and joebab down to 6th meaning that I have 1 less point I need to catch them by.
Sure, it's still a 27 point difference between me and joe, but if Gameplay hadn't bumped them down a rank it would be a 28 point difference, and every point counts

Geeo: Finishing 3-4 points behind DH will actually be pretty hard.
I'm not sure whether he'll be on christmas and boxing day.
But I doubt I will be.

joe: yeah... but somtimes finishing that close simply means posting 15 times because no one else posts very much on that day....

plus there will be other days that you are around and you finish 2nd or 3rd overall for the day.

And the biggest key to keeping a lead or winning is to be around at the end of the vcs day. That way you can post a few extra times to pick up an extra point or 2. That's probably the best way to stay ahead.

At least he only got 1 point on me. I can live with that

Meh, one point is one point, though I will possibly need some more help from Gameplay and Didowe to keep you down the ranks now.
