I always had bad Internet until today. Our Internet provider said we would have 1MB/sec down and at least 0.3MB/sec. Our actual speeds before today were:

Down: 150KB/sec
Up: 120KB/sec

We would get that for $30/month. Guess what we upgraded to:

Down: 60MB/sec
Up: Maybe around 15-25MB/sec

Try to even guess how much that cost!

..................

30 dollars! :OOOOOOO

Until now, our provider trolled us with the speed and some of my brothers friends were laughing at the horrible speed we used to have. Now my family has above 20MB/sec upload, and ~60MB/sec download. This gives me a whole bunch of advantages and absolutely no disadvantages:

Goods:

150KB/sec ----> 60MB/sec download
120KB/sec ----> 20-25MB/sec upload
Only $30/month
Now I can upload videos with just the original recorded AVI file.
Large downloads that took hours now just a few minutes.

My brother calculated the amount of time it takes to download a gigabyte. Only around 6-12 minutes depending on how many sources are on the Internet.

So this means higher quality uploads are now possible for me and very large files now only take a few minutes to around 10-15 minutes.

It gets even better. My Internet for playing Smash Brothers used to be quite bad. Now I can play with no lag or delay on Smash 4 unless I am playing with people with bad Internet or lag.

The Internet speed I have now is almost 1/4th of the best possible Internet speed in the US which is around 260MB/sec. I heard that people in Japan can get up to 2-3GB/sec which is beyond unnecessary for any of us.

Wow... for the same price. Nice!

I think I run either 50 or 60 MBs myself, mostly because because I play on my 360, and my cousin plays on his PS3.
