My pants fit. I don't even know what brand they are. I have a Nike shirt on right now, but not because anybody told me too. I like the color scheme of it. I get a "Regular" for a haircut. Which is basically a short cut with a part on the left side, it is a very traditional hair cut.

What i was getting at is... that the cloths you wear, the way you get your hair cut has already been shown to you by the media as 'good' or 'bad'. Its shown to you all the time, so much that you don't notice it anymore. Girls face a lot of this in magazines. With thin and tiny models. And they believe that is the way they should look. So they try to. That model in the magazine is now the deffinition of pretty, and if they don't look like them they aren't always happy.
Thats not always the case... but many times it is. Weather its plain out as i said it there, or more obscure.

The media trully does control our brains...

BUT, I really dont think it has influenced me, I'm seriously one of the most unique people in my town...

I wear solid black windpants, solid white tshirts just about every day...they're cheap and comfy.

As for my hair cut, I usually let it grow out til it gets long, than I go to the hair cut place about 4 times a year and ask for it to get shortened.

My shoes I had for almost 5 years (and they were cheap shoes to begin with), and I was forced to find another pair because they had holes in them.

John my harircut is seen rarely and has been cut this way for as long as I can remember. I have not really been influenced by the meida. So, just because I wear blue jeans I was influencesd by the media. I really could care less what other people think of me. I care what a few think, but they are my close friends. They haven't influenced my style either. I wear New Balance tennis shoes because my feet are so wide. I wore them til they were dead.
