Anyways, I think the game needs a lot of touch-ups. I played the game when it first was released and I always thought it was kind of a rip off. I know it's supposed to be a tribute to classic arcade fighters but it's kind of lame even for that. I think if they took the old style and brought something new to it ( I certainly don't see anything that's new to the genre ), then it would be worth playing. Replay value in games like this is also fairly essential ( in my opinion ) but I just can't see any replay value in this. There's nothing inherently wrong with the game, it's just that there have been too many games like this that are mediocre at best and making a new one just doesn't seem like something that we need.

It's actually not a tribute to beat em ups, it's a tribute/parody to retro gaming in general, mostly the 8 bit era. That's what I really love about it.

Whoa that is awesome!!! Is the main guy the guy from Double Dragon? I have seen him before somewhere, Double Dragon was awesome, I love those type of games, that part with him with that frog tongue was kind of creepy though. And the part with the spy guy was classic. At one part was that turn based/ It looked like it was fighting like something from the final fantasy series.

Lycan212 : Yeah, that's Abobo, he's normally a bad guy in the Double Dragon games. It's not really turn based at all, it's just a action game, it takes games like Double Dragon, Mega Man (later stages) Urban Champion, Legend of Zelda, and pretty much uses the style of gameplay on those, and has you battle your way through the level. For a flash game, there are quite a few levels too, which is nice.

The Pro Wrestler stage with the WWF Superstar finishing move was ROFLBBQ -- it was SO 80's. Some stages are better than others, but I found it a very fun mash-up, especially since the controls changed for each stage to match the game he's playing in.
